Pamela Sintes Memorial Foundation

We are dedicated to increasing the community's awareness of domestic violence and ending the pervasive epidemic in our community. 

The Pamela Sintes Memorial Foundation invites you to join us for the Pam Sintes  Memorial Regatta; a fundraiser to end domestic violence in our community. The Pamela Sintes  Memorial Foundation was founded in memory of Pam Sintes in hopes of keeping her legacy  alive after her life was tragically cut short. Pam was a loving mother and a beloved member of  the Lakefront sailing community. In 1993, Pam’s life was tragically taken from her when she  became a victim of domestic violence. 

Since 2018, with your help we raised over $120,000 for women and children who have  been victimized by this growing epidemic in our community. Your donations have helped us  sponsor children to attend Camp Hope of America, provide school supplies, hygiene products,  clothing, and other necessities for women and children who have left violent situations in  pursuit of a non-violent life. With your continued support in the coming year, we aspire to  support more victims as they start a new life for themselves and their family. 

We hope that you join us in our 31st year for our regatta fundraiser on August 22,  2026, at New Orleans Yacht Club. The fundraising post-race party includes a live auction, a  silent auction, raffles, food, cash bar, and live music.
